ABSTRACT
This research was conducted to foster character values in students through the analysis of the novel Bidadar-Bidadari Surga. The current character condition of students is still low and distorted. Many factors make a child's character low, namely; environmental factors, family factors, and factors of abuse of media tools. As well as examples of character deviations in students today such as brawls, truancy, easy things to do when emotional, bullying classmates, and watching inappropriate sites. As the nation's next generation, students are expected to have good character in everything.
To get the results of the analysis, the researcher in conducting this research used this type of research to be library research or library research. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach.
Based on the results of the analysis, obtained the character values contained in Bidadari-Bidadari Surga novels by Tere Liye include values: (1) religious (2) honest (3) tolerance (4) discipline (5) hard work (6) creativity (7) independent (8) democratic (9) curiosity (10) love of the homeland (11) respect for achievement (12) communicative (13) love for peace (14) reading (15) caring for the environment (16) caring for the social (17) responsibility .
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa melalui analisis novel Bidadar-Bidadari Surga. Kondisi karakter peserta didik pada saat ini masih rendah dan menyimpang. Banyak faktor yang menjadikan suatu karakter anak itu rendah, yaitu ; faktor lingkungan, faktor keluarga, dan faktor penyalahgunaan alat media.Adapun contoh penyimpangan karakter anak didik pada masa sekarang ini seperti : tawuran, bolos, gampang melakukan hal pada saat emosi, membully kawan sekelas, dan menonton situs-situ yang tidak pantas. Sebagai generasi penerus bangsa, anak didik diharapkan memiliki karakter yang baik terhadap segala hal. Untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis, peneliti dalam melakukan peneleti an ini menggunakan Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian pustaka atau librarary research. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif.Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, diperoleh nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga Karya Tere Liye meliputi nilai : (1) religius (2) jujur (3) toleransi (4) disiplin (5) kerja keras (6) kreatifitas (7) mandiri (8) demokratis (9) rasa ingin tahu (10) cinta tanah air (11) menghargai prestasi (12) komunikatif (13) cinta damai (14) membaca (15) peduli lingkungan (16) peduli sosial (17) tanggung jawab.
