Abstrak.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan profil pelaksanaan literasi siswa SMP se-Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan (5 alokasi sekolah) tahun ajaran 2019/2020.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan (5 alokasi sekolah) SMP N 1 Doloksanggul, SMP N 2 Doloksanggul (pusat kota), SMP N 1 Pollung, SMP N 4 Pollung (pemukiman), SMP N 3 Doloksanggul (penengah antarkota),  kepala sekolah, guru, siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi.Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Abstract.The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of literacy implementation of Humbang Hasundutan Middle School students (5 school allocations) for the academic year 2019/2020. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Humbang Hasundutan District Middle School. Subjects were Humbang Hasundutan Middle School students (5 school allocations) Doloksanggul N 1 Middle School, Doloksanggul N 2 Middle School (city center), SMP N 1 Pollung, Middle N 4 Pollung (settlement), Middle N 3 Doloksanggul (intercity mediator), head school, teacher, students’. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation, documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation. The collected data is then described and analyzed based on the researchers' observations and the five aspects contained in the questionnaire items that have taken place namely: aspects of time utilization, aspects of student literacy obedience, aspects of the teacher's role, aspects of library use, aspects of student or student literacy Humbang Hasundutan Middle School.
