ABSTRAK

Over the past twenty years, natural food-derived components have attracted attention for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and apoptosis-modulating properties. Dewa Crown fruit, also known as Paleria macrocarpa, has many beneficial pharmacological activities. This study looked at whether Dewa Crown fruit extract (Phaleria macrocarpa) could reduce malondialdehyde levels in blood samples of overexercised white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The white rats (Rattus norvegicus), used in this study, were two to three months old and weighed between 160 and 200 grams. Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) fruit extract is the independent variable, and malondialdehyde levels resulting from excessive physical activity in white rats (Rattus norvegicus) is the dependent variable. According to the average malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, the group given 5 milliliters of Dewa Crown fruit extract (Phaleria macrocarpa) reduced MDA levels significantly compared to other groups. The observation and data analysis showed that the administration of the extract could significantly reduce MDA levels in over-exercised Wistar male rats (Rattus norvegicus).
