ABSTRAK

Aging is a gradual physiological change in an organism that results in aging or a decline in biological function and the organism's ability to respond to metabolic stress. Aging occurs over time in cells, organs, or entire organism . The study of the aging process aims to understand and adjust all the factors that contribute to the limits of a person's lif. The most important acute effect of UV radiation on normal human skin is sunburn (erythema). The overall aim of this research is to study and test the effectiveness of applying an anti-aging cream containing lemon peel extract (Citrus limon) in preventing the skin aging process in mice. The Wistar strain (brown rat) was exposed to ultraviolet B light. The specific aim of this research is to administer lemon peel extract cream (Citrus limon) at concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15% to prevent the skin aging process in mice exposed to UV-B radiation.
