ABSTRAK

Diabetes and obesity go together. Antidiabetic drugs are effective in treating diabetes. However, currently available diabetes medications are too expensive, do not work and cause serious side effects. An important treatment in the treatment of diabetes and obesity is the use of bioactive chemicals produced by plants. This compound is effective, readily available, safe and affordable. The main objective of this study was to determine whether pancreatic extracts from Moringa oleifera flowers affect blood amylase and lipase and histopathology in obese male Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). This is a true experimental study with a control group design... The research material was then analyzed using SPSS using ANOVA and Post Hoc test with LSD technique. This researcher used 24 male rats. Treatment with Moringa oleifera flower extract improves pancreatic function in obese Wistar white rats by lowering serum lipase and amylase levels. Serum lipase and amylase investigations revealed that 600 mg/kg enhanced pancreatic function in obese white Wistar rats.
