ABSTRACT

The Emergency Room is part of a hospital that functions as a place for handling emergencies at the main gate. IGD crowding is defined as the main condition in emergency services that can exceed capacity, IGD services are types of quality care in the right time. Triage is a type of assessment that is precise, fast and responsive to the time possible in the utilization of human resources, facilities and efficient equipment that aims to classify and select all types of patients who need help and prioritize their actions. In the Emergency Room, Fixed Duration and Waiting Time can see clinical performance and density levels. Length of Stay in the ER can see clinical workload and density level. For this study, correlation analysis was used with a cross-sectional approach which aims to determine the relationship between waiting time and length of stay and patient satisfaction at the RSU Emergency Room. Royal Prima Marelan. Of the 72 respondents studied, 52 respondents (72.3) were satisfied with the waiting time and length of stay IGD RSU Royal Prima Marelan. From the statistical test, the Chi Square value obtained P Value = 0.00 (p <0.05) so that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted, which means there is no relationship between waiting time and Length of Stay and patient satisfaction in the RSU Emergency Room.
