ABSTRAK

Clinical Practice Guidelines are procedures carried out by doctors in effective services that will provide better results. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors at the Mandau District Hospital.  The type of research used is an analytical survey research using a cross sectional study design carried out at the Mandau District Hospital carried out in October 2022. In this study, all general practitioners who worked at the Mandau District Hospital were 85 people.  The results showed that there was an influence of barriers based on the level of ability to recognize and explain the clinical picture of the disease on the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors at the Mandau District Hospital (p = 0.008 <0.005), there was an influence of barriers based on the level of ability to diagnose patients' diseases on the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors in Mandau District Hospital (p = 0.004 < 0.005), there is an influence of barriers based on the level of ability to carry out initial management on the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors at the Mandau District Hospital (p = 0.000 <0.005), there is an influence of obstacles based on the level of ability to carry out management independently and directed on the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors at the Mandau District Hospital (p = 0.001 <0.005). The variables that influence the application of clinical practice guidelines for doctors at the Mandau District Hospital are the ability to carry out initial management with a p value of 0.000, OR = 65.512 (95% CI = 22.048-90.835). The suggestion in this study is that the results of this study be used as input for evaluating and making training for doctors related to the application of clinical practice guidelines.
