ABSTRAK

This research has importance to examine the relationship between grade VII pupils at SMPN 7 Medan's reading anxiety and comprehension. In this research, the writer chooses 32 students as participants. This research applies correlational design to analyze two variables (Reading comprehension and reading anxiety). The findings This study outlines the adverse relationship between reading anxiety and comprehension. it means if a higher level of anxiety then the score of reading comprehension will be lower on the contrary if the reading comprehension score gets higher then the reading anxiety gets lower.
