Gagal ginjalxkronik (GGK) merupakan proses patogenesis yang meyebabkan terjadinya penurunan progresif terhadap kerja ginjal yang berakibat pada gagal ginjal. Berdasarkan keterangan data yang di informasikan oleh Global Burden of Disease (GBD), di tahun 2017 terdapat 697,5 juta kasus di dunia yang mengalami penyakitxgagalxginjalxkronik. Hemodialisisxadalah terapi untuk mengganti fungsixkerja ginjal dengan menggunakan mesin dialisis banyak dipilih oleh pasien gagalxginjalxkronik. Perilaku perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan sangat erat kaitannya dengan pengelolaan pasien hemodialisa yang mengalami gagal ginjalxkronik. Penelitianxini bertujuanxuntukxmengetahuixadakah pengaruh dari perilaku caring perawat pada peningkatan kualitas hidup pasien yang menderita gagalxginjalxkronik di ruang hemodialisa Rumah Sakit Royal Prima Medan 2022. Jenis penelitian analitik ini memakai desain Cross Sectional menggunakanxteknikxpurposivexsampling dengan totalxrespondenxsebesar 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil uji Spearman, s rho dengan p = < 0,05, diperoleh nilai p-value (0,000) < 0,05 dan Ho ditolak. Maka kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah perilaku caring dari perawat dengan kualitas hidup dari pasien hemodialisa yang mengalami gagalxginjalxkronik di Rumah Sakit Royal Prima tahun 2022 memilikixpengaruh yang signifikan.

Chronicxkidney failure (CKD) is a pathological processxthat causes a progressive decrease in kidneyxfunction which results in kidney failure. Based on data information providedxby thexGlobalxBurden of Diseasex (GBD), in 2017 there were 697.5 million cases in the world who experienced chronicxkidney failure. xHemodialysisxis axtherapy to replace kidney function using a dialysis machine, whichxis widely chosen by patientsxwithxchronic kidneyxfailure. The behavior of nurses in providing nursing care is closely related to the management of patients withxchronicxkidney failure undergoingxhemodialysisxtherapy. The purposexofxthisxresearchxwas to xdeterminexthere is anxeffectxof nursexcaring behavior on improving the quality of life from patients whose suffering chronic kidney failure in the hemodialysis room at Royal Prima Hospital Medan 2022. This type of analytical research uses a cross sectional design using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 25 respondents. Based on the results of the Spearman test, s rho with p = <0.05, the results obtained were p-value (0.000) <0.05 and Ho was rejected. The conclusion obtained that is the caring behavior of nurses with the quality of life of hemodialysis patients with chronic kidney failure in Royal Prima Hospital 2022 has a significant effect.
