ABSTRAK

Chronic kidney failure is a condition that occurs due to decreased kidney function to maintain body balance. Persistent kidney failure has become a worldwide medical problem caused by the increasing number of deaths, the prevalence of chronic kidney failure will continue to increase in the near future. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between family support and the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The analytical method used in this study was a cross sectional design, with a purposive sampling technique of 30 samples. This study concludes that there is a correlation between family support and quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Based on the results of the Chi Square test shows the p value <α (0.05 < 0.001) Ho is rejected, so there is a relationship between family support and the quality of life of patients with kidney failure.
