ABSTRAK

Diabeteseemellituse(DM)eeiseeaemetaboliceedisordereecausedeebyeetheeeinabilityeofthePancreaseetoeeproduceeeenougheeinsulineeor theeebody's inability to produceeinsulin thateiseproducedEeffectively.aTheeequalityeeofeelifeeeofeediabeticeepatientseeisapoor,ebecauseapatientsafeeleephysicalechanges such as fatigue and increased blood sugar levelsecausedebyedyskinesia.OneYwayeetoeeimproveeetheeequalityeeofeelifeeeiseegoodeselfecare.Thepurposeeeofeethiseestudyeewaseetoeedetermineetheeerelationshipeebetween.eselfcareeandeequalityoflifeeeofeediabeticepatientseeateetheeRoyaleePrimaeHospitalYineMedan2021.Thisetypeeofresearcheewasedescriptiveaandausedaaacrossasectionalaapproach.aOnlyaobservationalYdata(Nursalam,Y2014).ResultsYMostYintervieweesYhadeeselfeecareeeandeequalityeeofeelife. There are 14 respondents (70.0%) who have goodeselfecare,e6e(30.0%)ehaveebadeselfecare,eande9erespondentse(45.5%)ehaveedataonetheequalityeofelifeeofepatients.eTheequalityeeofeelifeeoftheenumbereof.epatientsewaselowerethane4(20.0%).eTherefore,YthroughYdataeeanalysiseusingtheechisquareeeteseresults,eepvalue.=ee0.003.<ealphaevalue0.05,eetheneeHoeeiseerejectedeeandeHaeeis.. accepted. The _iconclusion is that there isa_ia _irelationship between self-care _iand _iquality _iof _ilife _idiabetic _ipatients _iat _ithe _iRoyal _iPrima General _iHospital _iMedan in 2021. Diabetic patients need to maintain and improve self-care, so that patients can enjoy a healthy life without complications and achieve the best _iquality _iof _ilife.
