ABSTRAK

The community health center information management system (SIMPUS) is an information provider arrangement to assist the decision-making process in achieving a health center activity target. The Mandrehe Inpatient Health Center has implemented SIMPUS in registration management, but it is still not optimal. Therefore, the HOT Fit model was used in this study aimed to evaluate the SIMPUS implementation at the Mandrehe Inpatient Health Center in 2021. The study was conducted in June 2021 in the form of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 5 medical staff at the Mandrehe Inpatient Health Center. Evaluated aspects were the respondent’s educational background, data input infrastructure, patient data, and data processing. Based on the study, the data processing process is easy to understand by the staff and the staff quality is quite good even though there is no formal training. The lack of optimal SIMPUS implementation is caused by inadequate electronic facilities and the availability of incomplete patient data. To overcome the existing problems, the Mandrehe Health Center needs to carry out direct field monitoring, good coordination, and work motivation so that the information produced is useful and health center targets can be achieved.
