ABSTRAK

Family Planning Extension (PKB) seeks to reduce the birth rate of the population while at the same time trying to improve the quality of life of the population. The purpose of the study was to analyze the performance of PKB/PLKB in Achieving Success in Family Planning Using the Performance Appraisal Method in West Nias Regency in 2021. The research method was quantitative with a cross sectional approach. This research will be conducted in West Nias Regency in April 2021. The population of family planning officers in West Nias Regency is 90 people. The sampling technique in this study used the Total Sampling technique. Conclusion Performance using the Performance Appraisal Method in effectiveness and efficiency with a significant value of 0.002 <0.005. Performance using the Performance Appraisal Method in responsibility with a significant value of 0.003 <0.005. Performance using Performance Appraisal Method in discipline with a significant value of 0.002 <0.005. Performance using the Performance Appraisal Method in the initiative with a significant value of 0.002 <0.005. The most dominant Performance Appraisal method in the performance of PKB/PLKB is the Performance Appraisal Method of effectiveness and efficiency, discipline and initiative. Suggestions for education as a reference regarding PKB/PLKB Performance in Achieving Successful Family Planning by Using the Performance Appraisal method. for health services as input to family planning extension officers in order to further improve performance in achieving family planning success. for respondents as input for respondents to understand family planning. for further researchers as an additional reference to further researchers with similar research variables.
