ABSTRAK

Abstract: The number of refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia continues to increase every year, while most are still waiting for the process of finding a long-term solution by UNHCR for an uncertain period. During the waiting process, many things happen in their life that has an impact on psychological impact. This research focuses on how the psychological of well-being asylum seekers refugees in transit countries. This study used qualitative research methods and used purposive sampling technique which six subjects were used, consisting of a group of unaccompanied adolescents, heads of families and single mothers. Data obtained through interview and observation methods. The reason the researchers used this research technique was to dig deeper into the psychological well-being aspects of asylum seekers refugees in transit countries. The results showed that age and positive social support greatly influenced the psychological well-being subject of the unaccompanied adolescent group and the head of the family, while the lack of social support in the single mother group subject made the subject of the psychological well-being low.
